How To Use The Training Catalog

How to search the catalog:

The display is limited to 30 results per page, listed in alphabetical order by material name. To narrow your search, you will be able to use any combination of keywords and dropdown filters.

Any word(s) entered into the keyword box will return material with those words found within any of the catalog fields including material name, full description, activity type, business system, category/function, or material source. Simply enter your keyword(s) and then hit 'enter' for the search to run. The more specific you are here the more targeted your results will be.

The catalog also allows you to filter your results by using dropdown menus. By clicking the arrow in any of the dropdowns you may select or unselect any of the available values to filter your search. You may search for a specific filter value by entering the value in the search box above the available choices, but it will only search within that designated field unlike the keyword box that searches all fields. Similar to the keyword box, the catalog will wait to run the search until you hit 'enter.'

The results default to all values selected. To remove all selected values simply click 'all', then proceed to click the values that you would like to include in your search.

How To How To Add Material To The Training Catalog

Training materials from both UC Learning Center and Services & Support are brought into the training catalog automatically, and refreshed on the first of each month. Materials from other sources such as Blink, Collab, UC Path, UCOP, Youtube, and more are added to the catalog as they are identified as a learning resource.
